In the spirit of filling up all this blank space at PP, here are some potential discussions on PP that I would look forward to learning from:
Applicability of promises - How and when can I take to heart promises of God not explicitly directed at a group that clearly includes me? What are the principles that govern this?
Did Jesus have Mary’s DNA? What did the NT writers and church fathers believe on this from the perspective of their believes at that time concerning the mechanics of conception?
What is repentance and confession? Is full repentance really a key to happiness? How do we identify and address and resolve everything we need to confess?
What is the definition of “human”? Form / DNA / descendancy / personhood / other?
Etc.

Regarding the DNA question…would this go to the heart of the hypostatic union? Jesus is 100% God & 100% Man. Surely He had the same physical characteristics of any other human.

Though I suppose grammatically, either would work. Of course, this is coming from someone who scraped by with C’s in his grammar courses in school.
Jacob, you are indeed a gentleman.
The question is, was his DNA 1/2 from Mary and 1/2 a divine creation in the womb? Or was all the DNA divine? Like, say, Adam’s.
Obviously in those days their conception of conception, so to speak, was that all that the woman donated to the process was fertile soil, so to speak.
I think most theos lean toward 1/2 actual DNA from Mary, but I cannot find much on it.
